- Balanced background of both physical and logical security and will be current is regulatory and other compliance issues. Staff are centered around but not limited to, call center operations in Manila, Guatemala and El Salvador. Other sites responsibilities include a new facility in Nevada.
- Tasked with the development and maintenance of security processes, systems, tools and skills required to manage the Security risks of the global call center operations.
- Responsible for the ensuring that the new and existing customers data is protected in accordance with the contractual obligations outlined in Request foe Proposal’s
- Responsible for a number of sites in different countries significant international travel --up to 50% of time- is associated with the position.
- Establishing a vision and direction for a robust security program that supports the company business objectives
- Effectively engaging senior management from company on security issues that may impact offshore operations
- Establishing Logical and Physical Security operations in the Philippines and Guatemala
- Maintaining Payment Card Industry certification status in Manila and extend the infrastructure to Guatemala
- Participating in Customer Request for Proposal responses and ensure there is compliance with Security Policies
- Interacting with the Company Executives, Peers, Customers, Sales Account Teams, and Call Center Operations teams, to develop and maintain a clear understanding of the business issues and communicate any associates security issues
- Providing day-to-day tactical leadership to all security staff and ensure security infrastructure is operated and maintained in accordance with business requirements. Leading and coaching immediate direct reports as well as front line staff members on emerging security issues and mitigation strategies.
- Functioning and acting as the single point of contact for all security issues and escalations from both internal and external sources
- Providing strategic direction for IT Call Center operations on new security threats that may impact business operations
- Ensuring security results are measurable and actionable to drive continuous improvements, efficiencies and effectiveness for both the Customer and Company
- Ensuring newly developed security services and technologies are operated and well understood.
